Flaster Greenberg Expands Intellectual Property Department with Addition of Seven Professionals to Patent Practice Group

Flaster Greenberg is pleased to announce the addition of six attorneys and one technical advisor to its Intellectual Property Department’s Patent Counseling & Prosecution and IP Litigation Practice Groups, further strengthening the firm’s ability to serve clients navigating an increasingly complex and innovation-driven marketplace. With these additions, the department now totals 42 professionals.

As client demand for sophisticated intellectual property counsel continues to grow, particularly in emerging technologies and highly regulated industries, expanding the depth and technical diversity of a patent team is critical. By adding experienced attorneys and technical talent, Flaster Greenberg is better positioned to provide responsive, industry-specific guidance, manage complex patent portfolios, and deliver strategic protection for its clients’ most valuable innovations.

“Our continued expansion of the Intellectual Property Department is being driven by the increasing volume and sophistication of the work entrusted to the firm by our clients,” said Jordan LaVine, Co-Managing Shareholder and Trademarks & Copyrights Practice Group Lead. “Clients today expect counsel who not only understand IP law, but who also possess the technical knowledge and industry experience necessary to navigate highly specialized technologies and complex innovation strategies. These additions strengthen our ability to meet that demand with the depth, responsiveness, and strategic insight clients expect from our firm.”

The new team members include:

  • Christopher Galfano, Counsel — advises on intellectual property strategy and patent lifecycle management, with experience guiding clients through complex filing and prosecution processes.

Michael Piscitelli, Intellectual Property Department Chair, adds “Welcoming six new attorneys to our IP group reflects both the growing demand for sophisticated IP counsel and our continued investment in building a premier, full-service practice. Their collective experience strengthens our ability to help clients protect, manage, and maximize the value of their innovations in an increasingly competitive and fast-moving market.”

The growth of the Intellectual Property Department underscores Flaster Greenberg’s broader commitment to delivering forward-thinking legal solutions and maintaining a strong, client-focused approach in key practice areas.
