Masters™ Series of In-Person Programs

Sometimes it is important to know what is going on behind the scenes. This was the genesis of the Patent Masters™ series of programs, which began in 2018 and is our longest running series. The term “Masters” refers to the level of speakers on our program (12 or more years experience on the topic they are covering).  Patent Masters™ offers a high-level, interactive, seminars for those interested in an in-depth exploration of topical legal issues facing those that prosecute, litigate, license and monetize patents.  The series brings together top experts within the industry to discuss what is happening in the Courts, on Capitol Hill, and at the USPTO, among other things.

In addition to Patent Masters™, our “Masters” series has expanded to include, PTAB, Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technologies, and Life Sciences.

Third Annual Women’s IP Forum — 2026

September 23-25, 2026 – at IPWatchdog Studios in Ashburn, VA

The Women’s IP Forum is our newest program category. We have also always attempted to invite speakers from diverse backgrounds, including making every effort to have as much gender parity as possible. Unfortunately, in certain fields within the IP sphere that is not always easy. For example, only approximately 10% of patent litigators are women. Which is why we chose to build this program, where 100% of the speakers are women.  Like our “Masters” series of programs, we bring together those within the industry who have many years of experience and are both able and willing to have a contemporaneous, unscripted conversation about a particular topic. But we also wanted to give younger attorneys who are rising stars the opportunity to speak.  Realizing that opportunity is essential to achieving success, we hope that by including these younger, rising stars we will not only give them an opportunity on stage in front of an audience, which they may not otherwise have for some time, but also our hope is the more experienced women participating will mentor the younger rising stars.
