Ki-Sung Lee

Ki-Sung Lee is a Korean patent attorney and managing partner/co-founder of JOOYON KRP, specializing in the semiconductors, artificial intelligence and standard-essential patents (SEPs). He has worked extensively with global tech leaders and fast-growing startups to handle patent prosecution, FTO analyses, IP litigation, and strategic portfolio management. To better support clients with East Asian IP issues, he also practiced for three years in China at King & Wood Mallesons and Liu, Shen & Associates.

As a cross-border IP specialist, Mr. Lee guides multinational companies and emerging tech ventures in securing and defending enforceable patents across the IP5 regions. He also teaches as an official instructor for the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).
