Skiermont Derby LLP is Seeking an Associate

Our trial boutique law firm is looking to grow its patent litigation group. We’re looking for an experienced patent litigation attorney with a strong technical background and an entrepreneurial spirit. Depending on industry and other background, the ideal experience level is from three years to five years of active litigation. Experience with evaluating patent portfolios is a plus.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Dallas, Texas; however, remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

Duties Include:

Supporting all stages of a case – from pre-trial investigations to trial – which includes drafting motions and briefs, conducting legal and technical research, managing the discovery process, and evaluating patent portfolios.

Qualification Required:

Strong technical background including three years to five years of active litigation. Experience with evaluating patent portfolios is a plus.
