Sun IP, a leading provider of IP translations, foreign filings, renewals, and recordal services for over 700 law firms and in-house legal teams worldwide, is delighted to announce the appointment of Landon Teague as Chief Revenue Officer.
Landon brings nearly 7 years of experience in the intellectual property industry, with a focus on IP management software, renewals, and services supporting both corporate IP teams and law firms. His experience centers on helping organizations modernize how they manage and protect their IP portfolios while driving enterprise adoption and long- term customer value. Prior to joining Sun IP, Landon served as Vice President of Sales, Americas at MaxVal, where he led regional sales strategy across corporate and law firm segments, driving double-digit growth and expanding key enterprise relationships. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Clarivate, CPA Global, and Blackhawk Network, where he helped build and scale mid-market sales organizations within the global IP ecosystem. Across these roles, his focus has consistently been on building high-performing teams, creating repeatable sales processes, and aligning go-to-market execution to drive sustainable growth and a strong client experience.
“I was drawn to Sun IP because of the opportunity to build on a strong foundation and help scale a business that is already delivering meaningful value to its customers. The IP market is at an inflection point where firms and corporate teams are looking for more efficient, technology-enabled solutions, and Sun IP is well-positioned to meet that need.,” said Landon. “I’m excited to partner with the team to continue strengthening our relationships with clients and building on the great work already in place. Our focus is simple: deliver exceptional value, stay close to our customers, and support their success as they navigate an increasingly complex IP landscape.”
Josh Rosman, CEO of Sun IP, said “Landon is a great guy and a proven leader. We’re thrilled to have him join Sun IP as we meet the evolving needs of our clients and support our teams through this next phase of growth.” In his new role, Landon will lead Sun IP’s revenue strategy and sales operations, with a focus on expanding the company’s presence, strengthening relationships with our clients, and building on the foundation already in place to support the company’s continued growth. As Sun IP’s client base continues to expand, Landon’s appointment reinforces the company’s focus on building lasting relationships and delivering services that raise the bar for what IP service management looks like.
