Hon. Jeffrey Abraham

Acting Vice Chief Administrative Patent Judge Jeffrey W. Abraham was appointed to the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) on May 19, 2014. Judge Abraham practiced as a partner with the law firm Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, prior to his appointment to the PTAB.

n addition to hearing cases, Judge Abraham led the effort at PTAB to develop the PTAB Moot Court Competition, which launched in September 2024.

Judge Abraham earned his law degree from the University Of Florida Fredric G. Levin College Of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Cornell University.
