Gregory Bollis

Greg Bollis serves as Director of IP & Assistant General Counsel for Milwaukee Tool, a world leader in power tools, hand tools, and outdoor power equipment. Greg leads Milwaukee’s intellectual property legal team, which manages the clearance and protection of the fastest-growing brand in the industry.

Before joining Milwaukee Tool, Greg ran the IP operations at two other Wisconsin-based companies: Actuant and JohnsonDiversey. Over the past two decades, he has worked at nearly every level of in-house practice – from intern to Assistant General Counsel.

Over his in-house career, Greg has gained significant experience in obtaining, managing, and enforcing all aspects of intellectual property including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He is particularly skilled at translating complex legal and technological issues into brief, easily understood communications with proposals that deliver return on investment for IP expenditures.

Greg earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a JD from Marquette University Law School.
