Nikos Minas serves as the Global IP Counsel at Wesco International, where he drives the company’s global intellectual property strategy and help businesses navigate the complexities of IP in rapidly evolving industries and technologies.

Nikos is focused on actionable results and has introduced innovative frameworks that streamline IP operations, optimize portfolio management, and ensure businesses stay competitive in fast- changing markets. His strategic approach enables companies to protect their most valuable innovations while uncovering opportunities for growth through intellectual property.

Before joining Wesco, Nikos held leadership roles, where he managed high-value patent portfolios and advised on strategic IP matters across industries such as automotive, semiconductors, and advanced manufacturing. His experience includes overseeing global IP enforcement, leading IP strategy for cutting-edge technologies, and contributing to pioneering research in semiconductor technology.

Nikos earned his PhD in Electronics from Newcastle University and is a certified European Patent Attorney. He is passionate about education and mentorship, actively contributing to the development of future IP professionals and fostering innovation to meet the demands of a rapidly changing technological landscape.
