Joshua Shetler is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group at Haynes Boone’s Dallas-North office where his practice focuses on patent office trials, patent prosecution, and patent counseling.

Previously, Joshua served as a law clerk at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, where he supported Administrative Patent Judges through all phases of inter partes review proceedings and ex parte appeals. In addition to helping draft multiple final written decisions, Joshua worked with the Director Review and Director Discretionary Denial panels by providing legal and technical analyses.

Joshua brings this experience to help clients with patent strategy, quality control, and technical analysis across high-priority, fast-paced legal and engineering settings.
