Christina A. Ondrick is a partner with Spencer Fane. Ondrick is an accomplished trial lawyer who focuses on patent litigation in nearly every significant patent jurisdiction, including the International Trade Commission, District of Delaware, Northern District of California, Eastern District of Texas, Eastern District of Virginia, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  Christina has litigated patent cases for over 20 years, including as co-lead counsel in over ten lawsuits that went to trial.  She specializes in complex infringement cases and has achieved numerous successes in a diverse range of technical fields including telecommunications, semiconductors, consumer electronics, medical devices, metallurgy, robotics, power tools, and static displays.  In addition, she has extensive experience in handling trade secret, unfair competition, and antitrust claims.  Christina is experienced in managing and coordinating multijurisdictional disputes that involved parallel actions in district courts, the ITC, USPTO and foreign jurisdictions.  She works with diverse clients and cases that range from high-profile, competitor versus competitor “bet the company” litigations for Fortune 500 companies to smaller litigations for rapidly growing companies.

Christina’s trial skills have garnered recognition from The Legal 500 and Super Lawyers.  She is also an author and commentator concerning intellectual property issues. Christina is the Moderator for the DC Chapter of ChIPs, an organization dedicated to advancing and connecting women in technology, law and policy. Christina also works with clients in establishing and growing corporate diversity initiatives.

Prior to her legal career, Christina was an engineer working in the oil, gas and specialty chemical industries, providing engineering services to chemical, petrochemical, and energy companies. She advised clients on engineering design, risk reduction, and loss prevention.

Christina received her J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law, magna cum laude. She earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University.

She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, ChIPs, American Intellectual Property Law Association, Federal Circuit Bar Association, and International Trade Commission Trial Lawyers Association.
