Sonia Carlos Antonio

Sonia Carlos Antonio is an intellectual property practitioner with more than four decades of experience in the field, having practiced since 1985. She is the managing partner of CNV IP Law Firm, where she advises Brazilian and international clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters. Her practice encompasses trademark and patent prosecution, portfolio management, enforcement, and related proceedings before the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience advising foreign companies and law firms on Brazilian IP strategy and practice, with particular emphasis on the procedural and substantive aspects of intellectual property protection in Brazil.
