Jordan Kalteux is an attorney with Knowles Gallant Timmons. She focuses her practice on complex business litigation, partnership disputes and civil RICO cases.

She represents clients in business litigation and insurance matters, as well as those involving claims of defamation, breach of contract, and public nuisance cases. Jordan has extensive experience drafting discovery requests and responses, motions and briefs, and preparing oral arguments.

Prior to joining Knowles Gallant Timmons, Jordan served as a legal extern in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia, where she gained valuable experience participating in hearings and trials and drafting pleadings.

Jordan is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. She earned her law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law where she served on the Georgia State University Law Review. Additionally, Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from the University of Georgia’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their dachshund named Oscar Mayer.

What Can You Do if You Buy Stolen or Forged Art and Antiquities?

In February 2023, an art dealer in Palm Beach, Florida admitted to selling millions of dollars’ worth of counterfeit artwork to unwitting buyers. Daniel Elie Bouaziz of Danieli Fine Art and Galerie Danieli in Palm Beach County purchased cheap reproductions online, forged provenance and authenticity paperwork, and resold the forged artworks for a hefty profit. Two months later, in April 2023, a Los Angeles-based auctioneer confessed to creating forged Basquiat pieces for display in the Orlando Museum of Art. Michael Barzman and an unidentified co-conspirator in the case created 20 to 30 of these fake paintings.
