Paul Atamewan is a corporate and intellectual property lawyer, legal researcher, entrepreneur, and academic whose work focuses on intellectual property, technology law, corporate and commercial law, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
He is the Founder of Paulath Consult and the Founder of Paradigm-Stone Attorneys, where his professional work encompasses legal, corporate, business, intellectual property, and dispute-resolution matters. He is also a Chartered Arbitrator, with professional interests at the intersection of law, business, technology, and innovation.
Paul holds an LL.B. from Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria, and a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School. He earned an LL.M. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he pursued concentrations in Intellectual Property and Technology Law and Corporate, Commercial and Trade Law. During his LL.M. studies, he received the CALI Award of Excellence for Best Student in Secured Transactions. His scholarship and research in intellectual property and emerging technologies have also been featured through the Harvard IP in Africa initiative.
