Michael Adel, Ph.D.

Dr. Michael Adel is the Vice President of Intellectual Property at Lumus Ltd., a leading developer of near-eye displays for augmented reality applications.

Mike holds a B.Sc from the University of NSW, a Doctorate in physics from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of the Technion Institute of Management.

He has 30 years of experience in research, development, and intellectual property management. Mike has held various director-level roles, including senior director of strategic technology at KLA.  He is co-inventor on over 100 issued patents in the USPTO and is co-author of over 50 scientific publications in various domains of industrial research and development, including semiconductors, electro-optics, renewable resources, environmental impact assessment, and patent analytics.
