Matt Alsip is Counsel with Venable LLP. He represents clients in complex land use and commercial matters involving zoning and development disputes, federal securities law, consumer claims, shareholder derivative litigation, lender liability actions, contract disputes, and other matters. Matt has achieved favorable results for clients in federal and state courts in Maryland and elsewhere, and in arbitration and mediation proceedings. He also frequently assists clients in responding to third-party discovery subpoenas for documents and depositions of employees.

Matt is a member of the firm’s Electronic Discovery Group. He works with clients to properly implement litigation holds, and to address sophisticated issues related to the preservation and collection of electronically stored information in litigation.
