Gabe Sukman founded ClearstoneIP with a mission to transform how organizations approach freedom-to-operate investigations. Drawing on more than 25 years of patent experience across the full IP lifecycle, Gabe brings a unique perspective shaped by his roles as a USPTO Patent Examiner, registered U.S. Patent Attorney, and patent litigator at leading firms including Paul Hastings and Gibson Dunn.

His diverse background—spanning patent prosecution, complex litigation, and IP consulting—has given him firsthand insight into the inefficiencies and challenges that plague traditional patent workflows. At ClearstoneIP, Gabe is committed to solving the patent world’s most pervasive problems by questioning conventional practices and delivering logical, technology-driven solutions that save time, reduce risk, and build institutional knowledge.

Gabe holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University and a JD from Georgetown University. When he’s not reimagining patent research, you’ll find him in the mountains—rock climbing, snowboarding, or mountain biking.
