Christopher Geyer

Christopher Geyer is Deputy General Counsel at Appian Corporation, where he is an advisor to the company’s business on a number of fronts. Christopher oversees more than a dozen outside firms in a number of domains, including all corporate litigation, patent and trademark prosecution, employment, privacy, and compliance. He also negotiates and reviews terms, draft disclosures, for corporate financing, as well as conducting due diligence in support of M&A (mergers and acquisitions) activity. Christopher also reviews tech transfer agreements, licenses, NDAs, and partner and vendor contracts, and is responsible for developing legal compliance programs related to COVID-19 and data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) in the US, Europe, and EMEA. He also oversees prosecution (and am engaged therein) of all corporate IP, which has resulted in a 5x increase in our patent portfolio.
