Jeffrey Cobia

Jeffrey Cobia is a registered patent attorney and Principal at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner with highly useful exposure to different types of engineering and law. He earned a B.S. from the University of Illinois in General Engineering, a specific major in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department featuring a rigorous study of mechanical and electrical engineering as well as computer science. He has a passion for working with new technologies that use artificial intelligence and machine learning, and working with inventors and entrepreneurs to help them pursue their goals within the ever-changing and complex legal framework of the patent system. In his free time he enjoys traveling and continuing to seek out once in a lifetime experiences, such as working for the NFL, playing viola in an orchestra, and volunteering.
