The 7th IP Awareness Summit will be held March 28th in Greater Chicago

The 7th IP Awareness Summit® is being being held on March 28th by CIPU in conjunction with the McCormick School of Engineering and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. It will take place at the beautiful Allen Center on NW’s Evanston Campus, 30 minutes from O’Hare Airport.

This year’s theme is “AI + IP = ?” The goal: sharing that leads to an action plan in support of creators, businesses and the public.

Keynote speaker Alex Castrounis is author of AI for People and Business: A Framework for Better Human Experiences and Business Success. He is a data scientist and former INDYCAR racing engineer with has over 20 years of experience advising startups to Fortune 100 companies on using data, analytics, and AI models. The speaker lineup also includes:

• Jerry Ma – Director of AI and Emerging Technologies, USPTO; fmr Senior AI roles at Facebook/Meta
• F. Scott Kieff – Fmr Commissioner of the International Trade Commission; national security advisor under three U.S. Presidents

IPAS 2024 will feature five timely panels, a morning keynote, a featured afternoon speaker, two breakout sessions for audience member participation, 20+ speakers, as well as multiple networking opportunities. A light lunch will be served. A reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres will follow the final panel. The nominal registration fee covers the cost of food and conference overhead.
