David Muus

David Muus is the Head of Legal Operations at Sisvel Group, where he is responsible for the coordination of the Mobile Communication Program, a joint patent licensing platform for all patents owned and managed by Sisvel in the field of 3G and LTE communication technologies. Apart from patents that are owned by Sisvel and by our subsidiary 3G Licensing, the portfolio includes the 3G and LTE essential patents of Airbus DS, Koninklijke KPN, Mitsubishi Electric, and Orange.

Before joining Sisvel in 2015, David worked at the Dutch telecom operator KPN as IP counsel. At Sisvel David has been responsible for its 3G and 4G licensing and litigation activities, resulting in a succession of settlements completed in 2022. David has also been working on the creation of Sisvel’s latest pools for 5G and cellular IoT. Now he is heading Sisvel’s legal team, from their Barcelona office.
