James R. Perkins is a member in Cole Schotz’s Litigation and Intellectual Property Departments and is resident in the Dallas, Texas office.

James brings an engineer’s mind and years of experience handling complex commercial disputes to the Cole Schotz team.

James’ practice focuses primarily on representing patent owners in complex patent litigation in Federal courts across the nation. James has helped win favorable outcomes for his clients against some of the largest companies in the world, including numerous Fortune 100 companies. He also has experience in matters involving antitrust, false advertising under the Lanham Act, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation, the False Claims Act, and construction litigation, among others.

Prior to joining the firm, James practiced at boutique litigation firms in Dallas, Texas.
