Haodong Zhong is a member of the Adams and Reese Global IP team, assisting the firm’s attorneys in working with businesses internationally and domestically across all legal IP issues that impact their operations, including anti-counterfeiting, trademark, patent law, copyright, and IP litigation and dispute resolution. Bilingual and fluent in Mandarin and prior experience working with domestic clients interested in doing business in China and assisting Chinese-based businesses looking to expand their services within the U.S., Haodong understands how IP laws contrast in differing jurisdictions, enhancing his ability to translate documents, laws, contracts for Chinese business owners, and communicate their needs to anyone they’re negotiating with. He was a legal intern in Shanghai, where he worked for the IP group at a leading American law firm. Haodong worked as a legal intern in the New York office of Fortune 500 company Tapestry, the holding company of Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman. Haodong earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. Graduating from Vanderbilt University, Haodong earned a B.A. in three degrees – Mathematics, Economics, and Philosophy.
