Designing an AI Future: Building and Enforcing AI Policies and Rules *

As AI capabilities accelerate, governments, corporations, and law firms are under pressure to establish clear internal policies that define how AI can—and cannot—be used. This panel will examine how organizations are navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of AI adoption, risk management, responsible use, and government regulation. From drafting acceptable use guidelines and addressing data privacy concerns to protecting IP, mitigating bias, and ensuring human oversight, panelists will share how companies and firms are building practical, forward-looking frameworks to govern AI use, and how to ensure both employees and vendors are adhering to adopted AI guidelines.

NOTE: Later in the day, we will explore the next step, which is the evolving role of AI in IP legal workflows, specifically discussing what AI solutions in-house and private sector law firms can and should be using today.
