Natalie Alfaro Gonzales Joins Yetter Coleman’s IP Litigation Group

Accomplished Trial Lawyer Enhances Firm’s IP Practice

Houston, TX, May 8, 2024: Yetter Coleman LLP is proud to announce that Natalie Alfaro Gonzales has joined the firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group. Natalie is a distinguished trial lawyer with extensive experience trying complicated, high-value intellectual property disputes in federal district courts across the country and at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Natalie’s courtroom experience intersects with her engineering background to offer comprehensive IP counsel, from pre-suit investigations and licensing arrangements all the way through to trial. She is known for her strong ability to connect with judges and juries and simplify complex technologies into clear narratives, traits that continue to garner recognition from organizations like Chambers USA and Thomson Reuters.

Prior to joining Yetter Coleman, Natalie was a partner and co-leader of the Energy Tech sector at Baker Botts, where she practiced for fourteen years. She is a magna cum laude graduate from the University of Houston Law Center and clerked for Chief Judge Leonard E. Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas following graduation. Outside of the courtroom, Natalie is deeply committed to community service and holds leadership roles in several professional and community organizations, including the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston, the Texas Minority Counsel Program, and ChIPs, a global community of women in tech, law, and policy.

Tracy LeRoy, a firm management committee member, states, “Natalie’s depth of experience in sophisticated IP litigation and her commitment to community service aligns perfectly with our firm’s values. She is a dynamic, leading IP litigator in Texas and a strategic addition to our special team of trial lawyers.

Jeff Andrews, leader of Yetter Coleman’s IP practice group, continues, “Expanding our group’s footprint in high-stakes, sophisticated intellectual property litigation is a critical initiative for the firm. But waiting for the right fit is equally as important. Natalie’s character, experience, and background interlock perfectly with Yetter Coleman, and we are honored to have her join us.”

Natalie adds, “I am thrilled to join the impressive team of trial lawyers at Yetter Coleman, and I look forward to contributing to the firm’s success, both in the courtroom and the community. Yetter Coleman’s reputation in the courtroom is unmatched.  I am excited to work with the team to strengthen the firm’s IP trial practice further.”
