Meet Ronny Amirsehhi, LL.M.-IP, Managing Partner at Leo & us

Ronny Amirsehhi transitioned from working at international law firms to founding Leo & us, a patent-specialized law firm in the Netherlands, approximately two years ago. His goal was to offer a more flexible and client-focused approach.

Leo&us cost-effectively prosecutes both U.S. and European patent applications from the Netherlands while also representing clients before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). The firm collaborates closely with U.S. law firms on post-grant proceedings and litigation matters. Its strategic focus and expertise in both U.S. and European patent law have proven highly appealing to clients, driving the firm’s rapid growth within just two years.

Ronny is admitted to practice before the USPTO, EPO, and UPC and specializes in U.S. and European patent prosecution, UPC invalidity proceedings, and EPO opposition and appeal proceedings. He began his career in New York at Kenyon & Kenyon in 2004 and went on to refine his knowledge at several international law firms in Europe.

Ronny holds a Diploma in Patent Litigation in Europe from CEIPI and earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center, in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute and The George Washington University Law School. He also holds a degree in biomedical engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
