Wesley McMichael

Wesley McMichael is a Shareholder with Volpe Koenig.

Wes’s practice focuses on strategic patent prosecution in a variety of technologies including 5G and Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless communication networks, LCD and LED displays, optics, porous media gas bearings and seals, electromechanical devices, and electrical sensors and measurement devices. He is also experienced in licensing, conducting validity and due diligence studies, and trademark prosecution.

Wes’s clients are wide-ranging, from small start-ups and solo inventors to large corporations. He helps his clients with strategic patent portfolio development and management, as well as evaluating patents for acquisition.

Prior to joining Volpe and Koenig, P.C. in 2004, Wes gained industry experience as a technical representative in the fields of composite materials and coatings companies. He also has extensive experience in the optical arts through his time working as a research associate in a tunable diode laser laboratory at Connecticut College.
