Marie MacNichol

Marie MacNichol is a Mediator and Intellectual Property Attorney with more than 25 years of industry experience in resolving patent, licensing and contract disputes and litigations. Marie founded her mediation practice to help parties in conflict by providing neutral and impartial conflict resolution services that promote understanding of all issues in a respectful and non-coercive environment.  Marie is admitted to practice law in New York and Pennsylvania and is a Registered Patent Attorney.

Prior to going into private practice, Marie was a Senior Director of Patent Licensing for Dolby Laboratories from 2018 through 2023.  She has held numerous other positions within the intellectual property industry including four years as the Chief Licensing Counsel and Chief Licensing Officer for InterDigital, seven years as Vice President and Chief IP Counsel for LSI, an Avago Technologies Company and more than 11 years in the role of IP Licensing Counsel.  Marie started her career as an Attorney with Fish and Neave.
