Jenny Barker

Jenny Barker, a UK qualified solicitor, currently leads GSK’s global anti-counterfeiting team with a presence  in Colombia, China and the UK.  Jenny started her career in private practice at Simmons & Simmons LLP in London before moving to GSK in 2012.  GSK is a leading science-led global healthcare company with three businesses that research, develop and manufacture innovative pharmaceutical medicines, vaccines and consumer healthcare products.  Jenny sits on the INTA Anti-counterfeiting Committee, is a member of PTMG (Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group), EFPIA’s Anti-counterfeiting and Security Network and is Vice-chair of the AIM (European Brand Owners Association) Anti-counterfeiting Committee.  She has been a speaker at various events, including for the University College London Institute of Brand and Innovation Law, the INTA Leadership Meeting, PTMG and at the CIIE IP Forum in Shanghai.  She has also chaired GSK’s EU Legal Inclusion & Diversity Committee.
