Senior Attorney-Advisor, IP Enforcement

U.S. Customs and Border Protection

Beth Jenior currently serves as a Senior Attorney-Advisor in the Intellectual Property Enforcement (IPE) Branch, Regulations & Rulings, Office of Trade, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Her work involves providing legal guidance to the ports regarding counterfeit and infringing merchandise, drafting memos in response to administrative petitions for relief from seizure, and providing trainings to other CBP components, U.S. government agencies, and to the trade community. Prior to working in the IPE Branch, Ms. Jenior worked in the Valuation and Special Programs Branch, as well as the Tariff Classification and Country of Origin Marking Branch. During her time in Tariff Classification, Ms. Jenior served as U.S. Delegate to the World Customs Organization’s Harmonized System Committee in Brussels, Belgium. Before joining CBP in 2010, Ms. Jenior worked at a small law firm in Columbia, Maryland, which specialized in U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulatory work.

Ms. Jenior received a bachelor’s degree in French Studies from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, as well as a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Maryland.
