Chris Ochs

Chris Ochs heads the Outside Counsel Management Practice for UnitedLex, leading a global team of professionals to provide large corporate legal departments with strategic guidance and functional support aimed at optimizing the value, efficiency, and effectiveness of services delivered by outside counsel and other legal service providers. Prior to joining UnitedLex, Chris spent four years at Citigroup as Director of Outside Counsel Management and ten years at Reed Smith LLP in various roles, including Senior Director of Legal Operations, Director of Business Development, and as a practicing attorney with the firm. This experience has afforded Chris with innumerable opportunities to participate in the full range of law firm engagement activities from a variety of distinctive vantage points, which he leverages daily to help his clients achieve their objectives. Chris received his B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University.
