Anne McAleer is Head of IP at Paragraf Ltd. Anne has worked in the development, management and licensing of Intellectual Property in semiconductors and mobile communications for more than 20 years, in start-ups and in large corporations.

As Head of IP at UK semiconductor start-up Paragraf, Anne is responsible for the definition and implementation of Paragraf’s strategy to maximize the value of its IP in graphene electronics. Paragraf’s ground-breaking deposition technology enables manufacture of graphene devices at scale.

Anne’s prior roles include Senior Director of IP at IDEX Biometrics, where she was instrumental in negotiating license agreements to IDEX’s IP in biometric enrollment of fingerprints. Prior to that, Anne spent 10 years at semiconductor company, CSR, overseeing the filing and prosecution of 2400 patents in Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS. Anne also supported due diligence during numerous M&A transactions, including the sale of CSR’s handset chip unit to Samsung and sale of CSR to Qualcomm. Before working in IP, Anne was a product manager in UbiNetics, a 3G chipset and test equipment developer, and was a technology consultant at PA Consulting Group. Anne is named as an inventor on 15 patents.
