Allison Gilder is a Partner in the Boston office of Foley Hoag.  Si ce joining the firm, she has prosecuted U.S. and foreign patent applications for a diverse array of clients, including large and small biotechnology companies and academic institutions. She currently works on a vast range of intellectual property matters and clients in biotechnology, and small molecule development. She also assists teams in patent litigation and due diligence.

Dr. Gilder has a diverse research background in human and model organism genetics, protein modification, and cellular biology.

Dr. Gilder completed her doctorate at Yale University under Dr. Michael Caplan. Her Ph.D. focused on protein trafficking and the molecular mechanisms underlying Polycystic Kidney Disease.
